In this case study we can have an overview of how the Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts managed the opening of a luxury hotel in Paris. The company is well known thanks its strong brand and its excellent reputation all around the world. Opening a luxury hotel in Paris was a real challenge for them, because Europe is different from North America and Paris is different from all others cities. In order to built this reputation they hire employees with high skills and put in place the "Golden Rule" which was like to a rule for employees that means treat others as you wish to be treated. We will see in this case that the opening in Paris was a real challenge because the Four Seasons Hotel has to understand the French laws and labor laws in order to provide a good management to them and treat their employees with the "Golden Rule".
